Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040) Pinout & Specifications
Welcome to the definitive pinout guide for the Raspberry Pi Pico (RP2040).
The powerful dual-core ARM Cortex-M0+ from the Pi Foundation.
Key Specifications
- Operating Voltage: 3.3V
- Input Voltage: 1.8V - 5.5V via VSYS
- Clock Speed: 133 MHz
Important Wiring Notes
- Logic Level: The GPIO pins use 3.3V logic. Connecting 5V signals directly to these pins will destroy the board! Use a logic level shifter.
- Current Limits: The GPIO pins on Raspberry Pi boards can only supply a very small amount of current (around 16mA per pin, 50mA total across all pins). Do not power motors or high-draw LEDs directly from the GPIO pins.
